February 25, 2006: A damaged section of the Green Hills Trail around Indian Creek Community Lake was repaired to prevent the crumbling edge from eroding any further. The GHTA recycled some surplus telephone poles to shore up the trail and make it a little more friendly to a wider range of users. April 1, 2006 The IMBA/Subaru Trail Care Crew focused on a non-sustainable section of the Green Hills Trail. With the help of everyone who attended the morning's classroom instruction, we did a complete reroute of a fall-line trail. This meant some serious bench cutting, contruction of a new crib wall and erasing the old trail from view. |
